Lisa Matta is a full-time artist with over 10  years of experience and participates in local exhibits and venues in the El Paso area. Matta works out of her studio in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, and creates a painterly and loose style while achieving a realistic look in her paintings. She is known for her luminous and richly colored landscapes of the El Paso area, Italy, and Mexico, as well as various scenes of missions and still life that capture her imagination. Matta draws inspiration from her surrounding landscapes. She is known for her distinctive style, which incorporates vivid colors. She has also exhibited in numerous juried competitions and local museums.
